It’s been an exciting first few days for the JustProperty.qa team! We are loving the dizzying pace of development in Doha. This is one dynamic city that is always evolving with a pulsing property market that has something for everyone: whether you’re a single professional, a young married couple, or a family.

For those of you on the rental hunt, here are our picks for the top five neighborhoods in Doha:

The Pearl: Trendy, pristine and futuristic, this premium residential and lifestyle development ticks all the right boxes for Doha’s jetset. One of the city’s most ambitious projects--built on a man-made island outside the main city limits--this neighborhood includes luxury apartments, townhouses and villas.

West Bay: Seeking lush, quiet, family-friendly living? Then this distinctive neighborhood is for you. Diplomatic missions dot the tree-lined streets which boast a variety of living options--from high rise apartments to luxurious villas. West Bay also has a tremendous array of lifestyle amenities and indulgences on offer, from your standard shopping plazas and international schools to signature five-star hotels. At the West Bay end of the Corniche there is Sheraton Park, a little green spot with its own wi-fi access, making it the perfect place to unwind in cooler weather, watching the world go by.

Villagio District (Al Waab/Al Aziziyah): A popular choice for families owing to its proximity to Villaggio Mall,  Aspire Park and an abundance of schools, this neighborhood predominantly consists of modern family compound accommodation with a few free-standing villas. Considered one of the most aesthetically pleasing areas in Qatar, it has easy access to most of the major routes.

Madinat Khalifa: The preferred choice for families, this neighborhood is close to major shopping thoroughfare (such as the Lulu Hypermarket and small, standalone shops close by on Khalifa Street) and an abundance of international schools. Residents can choose from a mix of stand alone villas and compounds including Riviera Gardens which is one of the most sought after compounds in the city.

Al Sadd: Lively and bustling--where offices, independent shops, restaurants, small cafés, and apartment buildings are located side by side--Al Sadd makes for a walkable neighborhood and is among the most popular neighborhoods. In close proximity to Doha’s newest shopping mall and several parks, this district is popular with expatriate families.
